The 2025 Spring Palmetto Pre-K Jamboree is a FREE virtual professional development. Any and all Pre-Kindergarten teachers, support staff, and administrators are invited!

The Palmetto Pre-K Jamboree is a collaboration between the SC Department of Education, Head Start, SC First Steps and the SC Department of Social Services and is supported by the Preschool Development Grant Birth through Five Initiative from the Office of Child Care, Administration for Children and Families, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. 

The South Carolina First Steps Board of Trustees meetings are every other month followed immediately by the South Carolina Early Childhood Advisory Council convenings.

The Ready for Kindergarten Summit is a professional development opportunity for parents, caregivers, preschool educators, kindergarten teachers and community partners to provide knowledge and support on school transition for rising kindergartners and their families.
